Barbara Brill Gustin
Soprano Barbara Brill Gustin has been singing for virtually her entire life, beginning in grade school and continuing, with a few interruptions, to the present day.
Barbara sang in concert choir and theater productions throughout high school, as well as in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Concert Choir. After college, she began her social work career, got married and had three sons in the blink of an eye.
It was 2002 when Barbara joined Congregation Beth Torah’s Adult Choir in Overland Park, Kansas. This opened numerous singing opportunities in the Kansas City area, including community choirs, small ensemble Shireinu and the William Baker Choral Foundation Summer Singers of Kansas City and of Lee’s Summit, with husband Fred.
Barbara, a retired Licensed Social Worker, realtor, and professional organizer, moved to Rancho Mirage with her husband of 46 years, Baritone Frederick Gustin, in 2020. She currently sings in the Desert Outreach Synagogue Choir. She is delighted to be included in Coachella Valley Classical Voices.
