Denise Rooney, soprano, studied music at Point Loma Nazarene University and received a B.A. in Music with a focus on education and studies in voice and piano. She has been enjoying teaching piano and voice in Southern CA for three decades. She discovered the thrill of performing in musical theatre in 2018 and has since been in well over a dozen musicals at Palm Canyon Theatre. She has enjoyed singing the different musical styles from Damn Yankees, and Guys and Dolls, to Oklahoma and Sweeney Todd. During the winter season, she enjoys donning her caroling costume and singing with the Desert Carolers. Denise makes her debut with Coachella Valley Classical Voices in the 2024 season.
