Donald Corin earned a BFA degree in Musical Theater from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, a Master of Vocal Arts degree from The Catholic University of America, and an Executive MBA from Averett College with a concentration in Housing Policy. He has appeared on Broadway in Don’t Step on My Olive Branch, and Equity tours of Fiddler on the Roof (as Motel),  Man of La Mancha (as Anselmo), Kiss Me Kate (suitor), Joe Namath on Broadway (backup singer) and No, No Nanette (Tom Trainor).  He was an ensemble member of the famed Kenley Players throughout Ohio and Michigan in such shows as Good News, Applause, No, No Nanette, and Gigi.

His classical performing experience ranges from the Cincinnati Opera Chorus, The Washington National Opera Chorus, The Youngstown Symphony (as Gaston in La Traviata), The Aspen Opera Theatre (as Nathaniel in The Tales of Hoffman, Tamino in The Magic Flute and Count Almaviva in Il Barbiere de Siviglia), The Washington Summer Opera Theatre (as Brighella in Ariadne Auf Naxos), The Washington Savoyards (as Cyril in Princess Ida), The Victorian Lyric Opera (as Richard Dauntless in Ruddigore), the Little Theater of Alexandria (as Nanki Poo in The Mikado), and as tenor soloist in various churches in the Cincinnati and Washington, DC metropolitan areas, and with the Montgomery College Symphony Orchestra (as the Evangelist in Bach’s Christmas Oratorio). Don moved to Palm Springs in 2020 and after a 23-year hiatus from performing is excited to be back singing with Doug Nagel and the Coachella Valley Classical Voices.
