Soprano Kelly Groves fell in love with opera as a tween at a performance of Madama Butterfly and the rest is history. After beginning college in engineering, Kelly transferred to San Francisco Conservatory of Music, majoring in voice under Hermann Le Roux. Most recently, Kelly performed alongside CVCV’s Kelly McDaniel in Musical Theater University’s The Prom. Ms. Groves’ favorite roles have included Dona Elvira and Annie Oakley, and she is delighted to be performing with the fabulous artists of Coachella Valley Classical Voices.
