Michael Valley, baritone, is a new snow-bird desert valley resident, along with his wife, Danielle. Raised in Minnesota, his introduction to and genesis of singing was in high school with The Symphonic Octet, an a cappella ensemble. He received a Minor degree in voice from Rollins College where he sang with several choirs. Michael was a founding member of his medical school’s a cappella group, The Immune Response. During his medical training and later practice, he continued to sing in his church choir as well as local symphony choirs. For the last 20 years, Michael has taken a break from singing because of life’s joys and their respective commitments. He is excited to return to singing again and grateful for the opportunity to join the Coachella Valley Classical Voices.
