Originally from Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Rebecca Ward is a pediatrician and soprano based in Palm Springs, California.

With a lifelong passion for music, her journey into the arts began at age seven when she attended a performance of Verdi’s La Traviata, sparking her love of opera. Though she didn’t pursue vocal training until she was seventeen, Rebecca went on to complete a minor in vocal performance while getting her bachelor’s at the University of Florida. During her time there, she actively participated in various ensembles, including the university choir and opera theatre, notably performing in the chorus of La Traviata—a full-circle moment in her musical career.

After taking a hiatus from music during her medical training, Rebecca recently reignited her passion for singing and is thrilled to be part of Coachella Valley Classical Voices.
