Soprano, Sheri Shepherd, relocated from Claremont to Palm Desert in 2019 to be closer to her parents. Singing and dancing have been a part of Sheri’s life starting at age 3. Sheri got her degree in voice, as well as a minor in theater, from Occidental College. Mrs. Shepherd participated in the Los Angeles Bach Festival and was also a church soloist in Pasadena. Most recently, Sheri has been singing choral pieces (Mom’s in it, too!) with the Sun City Singers and doing musical theater with the Sun City Palm Desert Performing Arts Club. Recently, Sheri won a Desert Theatre League Award for Best Lead Female Performer, Cabaret/Revue.  

Some of Sheri’s favorite roles have been Eliza in My Fair lady, Sheila in A Chorus Line. Most recently she was cast as Luisa in The Fantasticks. 

Sheri volunteers as a board member for the Performing Arts Club as well as being President of the Tennis Club in Sun City Palm Desert. When she is not on the stage, Sheri teaches dance fitness classes and is a personal trainer.  At home are Sheri’s husband, Kevin, and their two rescue animals Banjo and Bonkers.
