
Travis Creston Detwiler
Baritone, Travis Creston Detwiler, is grateful to be a featured soloist and sit on the board for Coachella Valley Classical Voices. Travis first began singing & playing the piano as early as kindergarten. From there, community theatre, mallet percussionist, wedding pianist & a scholarship for Music Education focused on Percussion & Piano followed. In college, he sang in an 85-member strong, audition-only, SATB A Capella Choir. Travis also performed all over the Southeast traveling for seven years with Taradiddle Players, a Professional Repertory Theatre based out of Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, NC, as well as Summer Stocks & various other performances in & around Charlotte. A few of his favorite acting roles include Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, Prince John in The Lion In Winter, The Littlest Angel, The Wicked Stepmother in Commedia Cinderella, Opportunity in Someone’s Knocking, as well as Angel in RENT. Travis’ IMDB credits include the role of Tourist in the first LGBT film out of Egypt, entitled Toul Omry—All My Life. Travis is excited to be debuting for The Bent Theatre this upcoming season, where he will perform in their first annual Christmas Show and the Tony Award Winning play The Inheritance Parts One and Two in 2025.
